Esquire Harel Bocobza

Advocate Harel Bocobza, the founder of Bocobza Law, is a local and international business, technology and civil lawyer. He has a unique and rich background in international and Israeli law, business and international tax consulting, diplomacy and academia. With license to practice law in the State of New York and the State of Israel, Bocobza has three academic degrees (LLB, LLM, MBA) and few Associate Degrees graduating with High Honors and Distinction from five different universities among the most prestigious and prominent in the world, such as UC Berkeley Law. In addition, he pursued the prestigious Political Diplomatic Cadet Course of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

Bocobza has extensive experience concerning international and local transactions. He works and travels regularly all over the world, accompanies and works regularly with high profile clients from Israel and many countries around the world such as businessmen/women and leading companies in a wide range of commercial and civil matters. Such complex transactions require vast knowledge and connections in the legal, business, political and diplomatic worlds, which Bocobza is providing. Bocobza also represents his clients in their affairs with local and international authorities.

Bocobza has lived and studied in different places around the world, including New York, San Diego, Berkeley, Milan, Lisbon, London and Paris. From military service at the Israeli Air Force’s International Affairs unit through the Israeli MFA Cadet Course, Bocobza has gained a vast professional experience in the diplomatic world, working with senior diplomats and state officials from different countries.

Prior to establishing Bocobza Law, Bocobza practiced law at Yigal Arnon & Co., a top-tiered Israeli law firm, where he inter-alia participated in accompanying complex commercial transactions and litigations, advising Tech and Startups companies etc. Later on, he worked at the International Taxation Department at Ernst & Young for several years where he gained extensive experience in technology, innovation, wealth management, international tax planning, designing complex holding structures and transfer-pricing.

Harel is an enthusiastic lover of fine art, music, cinema, literature, philosophy, aviation, sport, cooking & wine.

His motto in life is “The world stands on three pillars: The Torah (moral), labor, and philanthropy” Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the Fathers), Chapter A, Mishnah B, Shimon HaTzadik (The Righteous).
